I heart Steven Klein

This photoshoot was done for Madonna's ReInvention Tour. Steven is a genious...

There were several different 'reinventions' of Madonna for the tourbook. I'll post more sometime soon but these are my favorites!

The Omen remake

Fox Home Entertainment has announced the remake of The Omen which stars Liev Schreiber, Julia Stiles and Mia Farrow. The film will be available to own from the 17th October, and should retail at around $29.98.

Flashback Weekend Pics!!!

On Saturday I went to the horror convention in Rosemont. The highlights of course was people watching, browsing the dealers' tables, seeing celebs in the horror world and checking out the costume contest.

Some of the horror celebs that were there were from The Devil's Rejects, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Creepshow, Children of the Corn and The Hills Have Eyes.

Here are some pics from the convention!

Me and horror icon Michael Berryman (very scary looking but very nice!)

"You mother f****r. I'm going to f*** you."

I'm sure you've heard by now about Mel Gibson's rant after being pulled over for drunk driving. If you haven't here are the highlights of his drunk babble:

"My life is f****d."

"You mother f****r. I'm going to f*** you."

"F*****g Jews... The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world."

"What the f*** do you think you're doing?"

It's probably best to just keep quiet... but what do I know? Interesting that he had to throw in some comments about Jews.

Man accused of biting off rooster's head

NEW YORK - A man accused of biting the head off his pet rooster was arrested Friday and faces up to a year in prison if convicted, an animal protection spokesman said.

A neighbor had complained about a dead rooster near his Manhattan apartment and agents found the body of the beheaded rooster on a fire escape, said Joe Pentangelo, spokesman for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The rooster's head was not located.

Humberto Rodriguez, 52, told agents that he bit the rooster's head off because he blamed it for injuring a pet pigeon that he also kept in the apartment, Pentangelo said.

Rodriguez is charged with animal cruelty and could face up to a year in prison if convicted. It is also illegal to possess a live rooster in New York City, Pentangelo said.

Pentangelo said Friday night he did not know whether Rodriguez had a lawyer.

Madonna's new calendar!

Get your 2007 Madonna calendar from Fanfire!!

the show is about theater as much as music

TIME theater critic Richard Zoglin and music critic Josh Tyrangiel both caught Madonna on her new tour. In a series of e-mails, they discuss the Material Girl's music, her prices and her fitness regimen.

R.Z. And still a style icon too! My wife, an editor at Shop Etc. magazine who has followed Madonna for years, was taking notes furiously. She thinks this concert tour will single-handedly bring back the patent-leather "wet look." (I'm not so sure about the S&M equestrian duds.) I kind of admire her for managing to stir up the headlines. Ann Coulter had to do it by trashing 9/11 widows.

But never mind all that — you're the rock guy, how's she doing musically?

J.T. Musically she's as strong as ever, if not stronger. But let me define what I mean by musically.

Plenty of people point out that she's no singer — and she's not — but quality of voice has never really mattered in popular music. Really, her great gift is that she has a terrific set of ears. She listens to what's going on at the avant-garde edge and has an uncanny ability to recognize bits that, in a different context, could have mainstream appeal. So for a pop listener, the thing you know draws you into the thing you don't know, and at the end you feel a little cooler just for having listened to the song. Making people feel cool — allowing your style to rub off on them for a few minutes — is what great pop is all about. And yeah, she's still making great pop.

Still talking...

In an interview with BBC News George Michael yesterday said he's suing the photographers who harassed him as well as his alleged paramour Norman Kirtland, a stranger Michael says he's "never, ever seen, let alone wanted to have any kind of sexual encounter with."

Michael is also considering libel action against "secondary" media who floated the story that the singer had given his partner Kenny Goss a £1 million gift in order to keep their relationship together. He is not planning on going after Rupert Murdoch's News of the World, who broke the story and published the photographs. Said Michael: "You find someone who's happened to sue Rupert Murdoch in the modern world and I'd love to meet them."

The Grudge 2 teaser

"For The Grudge 2, I was going for this mystery that was never there in Grudge 1, and I think that's going to fulfill the audience. ... There's a secret about Kayako's childhood life, so that's part of the big mystery. And the other mystery is, this grudge will never stop, and it's going to ... spread. And how is it going to get spread? That's another mystery."

He then added... "The Grudge 1 was a complete remake of Ju-On 1, meaning the storyline was very similar. Basically, it's the same. But Grudge 2 is actually different from Ju-On 2, and I don't think I would have accepted this job if it was going to be [the] same storyline. And because it was a different story, you know, my motivation was a bit higher, and I actually enjoy doing this."

Sunblock? Anyone? Anyone?

I'm sure this will be in the next 200 magazine articles that feature a Madonna story. Someone should have recommended some hefty sunblock.

Prince Harry... aroused?

Polo-loving Prince Harry, 21, caught the sun -- and admiring glances from passing fillies -- at a match yesterday. Onlookers wondered if he had a polo mallet in his porkcet, or whether he was just glad to see gorgeous girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 21, at the game in Windsor. An onlooker scowled: "Some blokes have all the luck. Chelsy must be a very happy girl."

Human hand, skulls found at stripper's home

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A stripper from New Jersey faced criminal charges Wednesday after police found a severed hand and six human skulls in her home.

Linda Kay, 31, was due to be arraigned Wednesday for improper disposition of human remains. Police said she was arrested Friday.

Officers responded to a report of a man wanting to kill himself with a hammer, but instead discovered a hand inside a jar filled with formaldehyde on a dresser in a bedroom. Six human skulls were found in an upstairs bedroom, South Plainfield Police Capt. Paul Brembt said.

"The Middlesex County medical examiner responded to the scene and determined that the hand and all the skulls were from humans," Brembt said.

Brembt said Kay, who works for Hott 22, a juice bar with topless waitresses in Union, N.J., refused to tell authorities where she got the body parts.

Nice try George!!!

Regarding his paramour in the bushes, Michael said: "As much as I don't want to be ageist or fattist, it's dark out there but it's not that dark. I've no idea who that guy was, but thank you very much."

thank-you very much, whoever he was

George Michael told a Britian radio station that the civil ceremony he is planning with Kenny Goss is still on. There were rumors that Kenny called off the ceremony after George was caught in a London park with a strange man. George also said that Kenny knows about his cruising and is fine with it.

He said: "I've got no issue with cruising. I've talked about it many times. It's never been an issue between us.
"We had a lovely tenth anniversary party. My present to him was a million quid so I think I should get away with so-called fooling around with 'Bernard Manning'. I've no idea who that guy was but thank-you very much, whoever he was."

"We knew with all the rubbish between us that we couldn't get a private wedding, so we have postponed it.
"I don't want people to think my life is troubled when it's not. I'm a man who has been successful for 25 years."

Man accused of shoving phone down throat

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The assault trial of a man accused of shoving a cell phone down a woman's throat has begun.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Marlon Brando Gill was angry and jealous when he forced the phone into Melinda Abell's throat in December. But defense attorneys insist the 25-year-old victim swallowed the phone intentionally to prevent Gill from finding out who she'd been calling.

Gill is charged with felony first-degree assault.

Lance is a homo

Having pursued acting, producing and – most memorably – space flight after ’N Sync went on hiatus in 2002, Bass now is looking ahead to new beginnings. He is in a "very stable" relationship with model-actor-Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl, 32, and is developing an Odd Couple-inspired sitcom pilot with Fatone in which his character will be gay.
Mostly, though, he’s just enjoying the relief that comes with the culmination of a long, at times emotionally fraught journey.

"The thing is, I’m not ashamed – that’s the one thing I want to say," he explains of his decision to come out. "I don't think it's wrong, I'm not devastated going through this. I'm more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life. I'm just happy."

As for why he's talking about this now Bass says, "The main reason I wanted to speak my mind was that (the rumors) really were starting to affect my daily life. Now it feels like it's on my terms. I'm at peace with my family, my friends, myself and God so there's really nothing else that I worry about."
